Along with age of a man, originally prostate behave can slowly turn into misery because carriers gland becomes easily infected and affected by the disease, including cancer.

Even so, many experts believe we can reduce the chances and minimize the risk of the disease through changes in diet and lifestyle.

Experts from Harvard Medical School in his presentation at the conference, the American Association for Cancer Research in Houston, United States, said that men who regularly drank coffee prostate cancer risk was reduced by 60 percent when compared with men who did not drink coffee.

Though the experts said it was too early to recommend the men to start drinking coffee, the results of the study is quite convincing.

"Lifestyle factors have been shown to consistently associated with risk of prostate cancer, therefore it is a great relief when the results of this study is reinforced by other studies," said Kathryn M Wilson, Ph. D, from the Channing Laboratory, Harvard Medical School.

In his study, Wilson analyzes the information from the Health Professionals study Follow-Up Study involving more than 50,000 male coffee drinkers started from 1986 to 2006. During the study period, 4975 men had prostate cancer.

Based on the analysis of the study, known to the man who ate a lot of coffee (more than six cups per day) has a 59 percent risk of lower aggressive prostate cancer or fatal compared with nonpeminum coffee.

However, this study researchers emphasized that not only caffeine useful for the prevention of prostate cancer. The study also found men who drank decaffeinated coffee also had a lower risk.

According to Wilson, coffee contains many important components, such as antioxidants and minerals that may play an important role to prevent prostate cancer. "Coffee has an effect on insulin and glucose metabolism plays an important role in prostate cancer," he said.
