Stroke is now attacking the people of productive age. When the attack came, those who previously could actively berkegiatan suddenly like "imprisoned" in the body that no longer can function normally. It takes patience and determination to re-organize life.
Awoke from a dream in length, BARINGIN Ade Nasution (49) tried to open his eyes. However, he could not. Ade repeatedly tried, her eyelids still can not be opened. With full awareness, the father of two children and then tried to move his fingers. The result is the same, he still could not move.
Ade did not know what was happening to him. The last incident she remembers is that he was in a meeting at a government office in Padang, West Sumatra. In the middle of the meeting, Ade offended by the words of his colleague and his anger mounted.
Not how long, Ade fallen. He was unconscious after a headache once complained to one of her friends. Ade was rushed to hospital, and according to the doctor, her blood pressure soared to 295/160. The pressure is too high it causes the blood vessels in the brain stem burst Ade. He fell into a coma. It happened in 2007.
Stroke causes Ade coma for 14 days. Along the way he felt his soul trapped in the body that "dead". "I felt like a long sleep and full of dreams. Sometimes I wake up from sleep but my body could not move, "said Ade.
When awake, Ade is in full consciousness. He could hear the voices of people he knew. He tried to talk to them, even he felt up screaming, but no one heard. "I am afraid of death when people are reciting prayers in my ear," said Ade who had frustrated because his body lying helplessly in bed.
In a coma, thought Ade was also still ongoing. He remembered the two children, Arvin (18) and Nadya (17), which still needs the school fees. Ade also remember that two days he had to meet clients to discuss business in the field of interior.
Stroke is also crippled musician Anton Issoedibyo (60). Founder of Radio Geronimo in Yogyakarta was first stroke in 2004. Anton night that 54-year-old still had just finished enjoying local prawns Kalimalang, East Jakarta. In the morning, upon awakening, Anton feels right body can not be moved and then follow the left side of the body.
"I feel paralyzed the right side of the body, eyebrows frown and my mouth oblique. My blood pressure was measured at 250/185, "said Anton via electronic mail that he sent.
