Refrigerator is one appliance of the most draining. Learn tips to treat and save the refrigerator to live longer.
1. Leave a space between the refrigerator and surrounding walls. Minimum of 10-15 cm with a wall and about 30 cm to the ceiling. If placed in a narrow space, the machine will be hot and fast workload gets heavier. There must be enough ventilation.
2. Place the refrigerator in a cool place, not in a place exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources because no good options for the machine.
3. Try not too often open and close the refrigerator. Lights when the door opened, draining. Do not be too long to open the refrigerator door.
4. Make sure the door was closed properly. Refrigerator cools food continues to work as a prescribed temperature, but cold air is wasted. If the refrigerator is in the tilted position, there will likely not close the door completely.
5. Adjust temperature as needed. The lower the temperature (the cold), the more energy required for cooling the refrigerator. We recommend that you set the temperature at a level just above the midline.
6. Disable the additional functions of the refrigerator if you do not need it. More and more functions are activated, the greater the energy consumed and costs incurred. No need to buy a refrigerator too sophisticated, if not sure will take advantage of these functions.
7. Avoid storing hot or warm food in the refrigerator. Wait until the food was cold. Food or hot drinks contributed to the temperature in the refrigerator and causing increased engine weight.
8. Check the rubber insulation on the door. Usually, this screen will loosen over time. Outside air can easily enter and disrupt the temperature inside. Machine refrigerator work harder to cool the contents of the refrigerator in accordance with a prescribed temperature. Do repairs if there is another hole that allows the outside air inside.
9. Turn off the fridge if you and your family want to travel out of town for some time. Open the little door of the refrigerator so that the inside does not damp and smelly.
10. Clean the refrigerator parts regularly to work the machine so lightly. Dust can clog drains and air, which causes the engine to work harder. The cost comes out even more.
