Mitsubishi electric car is very well known, the i-MiEV, received awards from the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame as "Car Technology of the Year" in 2009. Mitsubishi, now the generic name for these electric cars as "MiEV OS" (MiEV Operating System).
Three aspects that make this car won the categories are: (1) an integrated control technology for electric vehicles which are mass produced, (2) 3 methods of charging system of lithium-ion batteries and (3) electric motors are compact, lightweight and highly efficient .
This is the second award received in week MiEV this OS. Earlier, at the opening of TMS 2009, the Japanese automotive journalists to give a special award of "Most Advanced Technology" in the title of "Car of the Year Japan 2009-2010".
