Viagra pill may help men reach peak arousal, but be careful it turns blue pill can make you lose your hearing. As reported by the Daily Mail, the doctors warn that Viagra is consumed by thousands of British men can cause deafness. The users in the United States even warned that the drugs can damage hearing.
The experts, from Charing Cross, Stoke Mandeville and the Royal Marsden Hospital, asked supervisors for drugs in Europe, America, East Asia and Australia, and Asia if they had received reports "deafness viagra" - hearing loss immediately after taking the pill impotent.
They found 47 suspected cases of sensorineural hearing loss - hearing loss quickly on one or both ears - connected with Viagra and related drugs Cialis and Levitra.
A total of 223 other reports made in the U.S. are not included in the study because less detailed.
The report in the journal The Laryngoscope mention the average age of those affected was 57 years old, although two recent cases occurred in men aged 37 years. In a previous study of 29 suspected cases, by the supervisor of food and medicines USA (Food and Drug Administration / FDA), only a third of cases classified as temporary.
FDA advises users of Viagra, Cialis or Levitra that find their hearing suddenly deteriorated to immediately halt the consumption of pills and visit the doctor.
British researchers are not sure how Viagra can affect hearing, but it may trigger a chain of chemical reactions that are affecting the inner ear. "Medical practitioners involved in prescribing these drugs need to be vigilant about possible side effects," said Dr. Afroze Shah Khan, from the ENT (ear nose throat), Charing Cross Hospital. However, the UK medicines watchdog, the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, said the grievance hearing loss associated with Viagra are very rare. A spokesman added that reports of adverse reactions from drugs does not prove the drug caused it.
