A study from the University of Adelaide researchers found levels of lycopene in tomatoes that acts as an antioxidant good for cardiovascular health. Lycopene is also useful lower bad cholesterol and stabilize blood pressure.

Experts manganjurkan to get at least 25 milligrams of lycopene intake per day. That figure is equivalent to half a liter of 50 grams of tomato juice or tomato paste.

"Our study found lycopene intake of 25 milligrams per day can reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) to 10%. To get it just needs to consume half a liter of 50 grams of tomato juice or tomato paste," said study leader, Dr Karin Ried
