All new Hyundai Genesis sedan model 2012 Prada launched and sold in South Korea, Thursday (19 / 5). This special edition is available only about 1,200 units, with distribution limited only to China and the Middle East. There are no plans to be marketed to the United States and Europe.
This latest luxury car is a collaboration between Prada, Italy's leading luxury fashion brand, and Hyundai. Both had been working on this model for more than two years, since the concept was released in Seoul Auto Show 2009 exhibition ago.
Hyundai Motor America spokesman, Jim Trainor said, although the historical cars of this type had previously been marketed in the U.S., Hyundai is not planning to sell the Genesis Prada in the U.S.. The plan, Hyundai will launch two other new fresh models to be marketed in the U.S.. Both new models include the 2012 Hyundai Genesis has been upgraded and Genesis R-Spec models with the latest 5.0-liter engine.
Prada Genesis is powered by a 424-hp 5.0-liter V8 mated with eight-speed automatic transmission.
