Full of fibre and healthy
~
A crunchie is the perfect sweet treat to enjoy with a cup of hot coffee or tea,
or with ice-cream for dessert. Follow this easy recipe and make a batch or
two of the crispiest oat crunchies
Ingredients:
180g margarine
2 cups oats
1 cup coconut
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp syrup
1 tsp bicarbonate
Method:
1.Melt butter and syrup together.
2.Add bicarbonate and stir until it froths.
3.Mix dry ingredients in.
4.Flatten the mixture out on a greased baking tray.
5.Cook at 180ÂșC for 20-30 minutes.
While still warm cut into squares and then allow to cool before removing
