I’m shamelessly slow on the uptake. It wasn’t until I watched Scott Pilgrim vs the World that I finally put the pieces together regarding Johnny Simmons who’ve I’ve already seen in two movies this year – but didn’t realise. He was rather impressive in the relatively underrated Jennifer’s Body and I remember Ryan praising his turn in The Greatest. I kind of glossed over his performance in the latter, but despite the definite inadequacies in the script the acting in The Greatest really is all-round goodness and Simmons is a good addition. What with the trimester of Aaron Johnson (also in the The Greatest, then Kick-Ass and Nowhere Boy) it’s good seeing some good young men coming up in the business since they’re almost always overshadowed by the women.
People seem to be taking to Andrew Garfield recently and Josh Hutchinson seems like another one to watch out for. I’m still holding out that Shia LeBoeuf will someday impress me (though I used to think the same thing about Freddie Muniz, so who knows)? I’ve managed to come around on Michael Cera owing to him being perfectly casted in Scott Pilgrim vs the World even if I think he’s a cheap doppelganger for Paul Dano. I struggle to find good very young male actors – thespians like the Bens (Whishaw and Foster) and James McAvoy are already cemented as impressive actors for me – and they’ll soon be over thirty, whereas the younger women are constantly impressing from the very young like Saoirse and Abigail (even though I wonder if her turn in Little Miss Susnhine) was a fluke. I don’t care for Ellen Page or Chloe Moretz at all, but they’re both still considered a relatively valuable commodity. Mia Wasikowska is making waves, Evan Rachel Wood and Jena Malone (twins separated at birth) were impressing as children, though they’ve both been in slumps lately and Keira and Scarlett and Carey are still young despite each having done impressive work already.
I don’t know why the odds seem to be in favour of the women, perhaps I’m just prejudiced towards them...either way, let me return to my original point. I’m hoping Johnny Simmons has a strong career ahead of him (look at all that digression).

Meet Johnny Simmons; star of the upcoming horror movie “Jennifer’s Body” in which he portrays Chip Dove the boyfriend of Jennifer Check (Megan Fox). Enjoy video, pictures, and a Johnny Simmons biography here.

Just because J-Lo’s in the judge’s seat on the current season of American Idol doesn’t mean she’s above putting out new material for us to critique, as evidenced by her new single “On the Floor,” a RedOne-produced number most reminiscent of her turn-of-the-millennium smash “Waiting for Tonight.” The song, which features a lengthy rap intro from Pitbull, is set to premiere on fellow Idol diva Ryan Seacrest’s radio show next week. Jenny’s last few singles left clubbers standing around, waiting for a better song to come on. Will her latest get us back “On the Floor”? Listen here.

“It’s getting ill, it’s getting sick on the floor,” Lopez sings on the track — and yes, the lyrics about drinking, globe-trotting, and putting hands in the air are about as standard as they come for a dance tune (there’s even a “la la la” hook). The mixture of Latin sounds with a heavy club beat is also nothing new (in fact, the track samples Kaoma’s two-decade-old “Lambada”), but given that Lopez was one of the pioneers bringing Latina flavor to the clubs, this feels appropriate. It’s nice to see J-Lo return to form.

MANILA, Philippines - Who is this gorgeous hottie with huge biceps and perfect abs that fires up your weekday viewing? He is William Levy (photo), male lead of ABS-CBN’s hit afternoon Mexicanovela Maria De Jesus.
William started out as a model before he ventured into acting in 2005. He first appeared on TV via Olvidarte Jamas, followed by three other series in less than two years.
The 29-year-old Cuban hunk was catapulted to stardom in 2008 when he got his first starring role as Juan Miguel in Televisa’s hit romantic series Cuidado con el Angel (currently airing on ABS-CBN as Maria De Jesus) that earned him acclaim and gave him his first acting award.
He also ventured into film and theater, thus making him one of the hottest Latin American actors to date.

I like women to be coquettish, romantic, affectionate, women who engaged in a hot exchange of looks. I am seduced by a woman that acts naturally, who does not care to say what she feels, and who is happy when she is with me.

MILA KUNIS: Sure. Black Swan is a very hard movie to explain. It’s Darren’s movie. Natalie Portman and I play rival ballerinas and her character gets the lead in “Swan Lake.” My character appears and is everything that she wants to be in life. Her character is very professional, very strict and very neurotic. And, my character is very loose. The talent that my character has in ballet comes naturally to her. She’s not as technically as good as Natalie’s character, but she has more passion naturally, and that’s what Natalie’s character lacks, and so it’s a battle. It’s a yin and yang. Ultimately, it’s a story of Natalie’s character going through a downward spiral, mentally, through “Swan Lake.” It’s such a hard movie to explain.

Mila Kunis: Oy. I haven’t, but I can give you my stance on it: It’s like communism—good in theory, in execution it fails. Friends of mine have done it, and it never ends well. Why do people put themselves through that torture?

The BBC’s flagship Women’s Radio Show (Women’s Hour) made mention of the Woman’s world cup, and they were blunt in their opinion that while most people (men and women) in the BBC studios would like Japan to win, USA were the likely champions. However my tea leaves tell a different story, and I see an historic Japanese win! The soccer odds makers are against me on this one though.

She has different coloured eyes: her right, green, her left, brown.
She made the move to Los Angeles when she was seven. Bloody parents.
The topless photo that appears of Mila in 2008’s Forgetting Sarah Marshall is not real, we are assured. Damn.
She dated Macaulay Culkin for 9 years, but they split in January 2011. Woohoo.
